Crash Landing's debut album, Thought Process includes ten tracks that were produced by Crash Landing. It was recorded and mixed between December 2002 and April 2003 at Legion Park Studios in Shakopee, Minnesota and mastered at Two Fish Studios in Mankato, Minnesota. The band's deep appreciation for classic rock and commitment to the live show is ever present throughout the album with musical influences coming from the blues-rock style of Guns N' Roses, the lyrical perception of Pink Floyd, the funk-rock approach of 311, and the straight rock of The Replacements.
